The Lifetime contoured folding chair is manufactured from our patented high-density polyethylene plastic (HDPE) so it will be light weight but extremely durable. Unlike a wooden chair, this chair is scratch resistant. Unlike an upholstered chair, it won’t rip or fray. Stain resistant polyethylene plastic surface requires minimal maintenance to look as good as new for many years. Constructed for outdoor as well as indoor use with UV inhibitors, to prevent the plastic from fading and warping and a powder-coated steel frame to resist rusting. Steel oval tubing in the frame provides 20% more strength than the more common round tubing you’ll find on other folding chairs on the market. Superior cross-brace leg weld is inserted into the steel tubing and welded at two points for added strength and durability.
